With the completion of this “beauty”, drawn from Freeman Lewis’ 1814 collection The Beauties of Harmony, there are 80 tunes left to typeset before the compilation is complete! Take a look at an example of a tune that will be included in the collection, Delight. Probably familiar to many of you from a more recent collection, how many realized that its dramatic and well-loved text was excerpted from a longer Isaac Watts paraphrase of the 121^st Psalm? Give it a shot with some more verses sometime!
